BoingBoing.net posted an interesting article today. Apparently, copyright is becoming a major hurdle for the Library Congress in attempting to comply with the US National Recording Preservation Act of 2000 which mandates them to archive and preserve music.

Isn’t it about time we get rid of strict copyright in favor of Creative Commons copyright?
